Manchester City v Tottenham Hotspur

Etihad Stadium

14th February, 2016

Kick-Off: 16:15

Manchester City are to host Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium on Valentine’s Day. Both teams are high up on the league table and it is certainly going to be a match for the title. Manchester City and Tottenham are doing very well at the moment after having secured eleven and thirteen points respectively from their last six matches.

Manchester City seem to have a slight disadvantage with many of their big names being on the injury list like David Silva, Jesus Navas, Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Wilfred Bony, Samir Nasri and Eliaqium Mangala.

Tottenham Hotspur may be missing Jan Vertonghen and Clinton N’Jie due to injuries as well. This fixture is certainly one that will keep their fans on the edge of their seats and of course, as Michael Owen would say, the team which is able to make use of their chances better will secure all three points.

Arsenal v Leicester City

Emirates Stadium

14th February, 2016

Kick-Off: 12:00

Arsenal will be hosting Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium for what could be the match of the week. Arsenal seem to have lost some of their good form recently, being able to secure nine points in their last six matches. Leicester though are flying high after their big win against Manchester City at Etihad and have thus secured fourteen points from their last six.

Arsenal have Tomas Rosicky, Santi Carzola and Jack Wilshere reported to be injured while Leicester City could be missing Jeff Schlupp and Matthew James due to injuries. A high paced and thrilling match can be expected when these two meet. Leicester City may just be having a slight advantage due to their good form but it would be foolish to write off the Gunners who are still in the title race regardless of their drop in form.

 Aston Villa v Liverpool

Villa Park

14th February, 2016

Kick-Off: 14:05

Liverpool are to visit Villa Park for their next fixture against Aston Villa on Matchday 26. Aston Villa, who are presently dead last on the league table, find their form to be a bit better than their opponents having secured eight points in their last six matches while Liverpool are certainly in a slump as they could manage only five.

Aston Villa could be without Rudy Gestede, Libor Kozak, Carlos Sanchez, Alan Hutton, Adama Traore and Jordan Amavi while Liverpool may be missing Joe Allen, Divock Origi, Martin Skrtel, Joe Gomez, Jordan Rossiter and Danny Ings. Liverpool may just be able to secure a win thanks to the calibre of their players but Aston Villa also have fair chance to triumph.
