Everton v Manchester City

Goodison Park

The Blues welcome the team from the blue half of Manchester for the late Sunday game. City have begun the new campaign in fine form after racking up two comprehensive victories from their opening two games. Everton on the other hand, opened the new campaign with a draw at home, but a thumping victory over Southampton at St. Mary’s may well have put them back on track.

Arsenal v Liverpool

Emirates Stadium

24th August 2015

20:00 Kick-Off

Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal take on Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool for the biggest match of this game-week. The Gunner’s have three points from two games while Liverpool have exactly double that. Arsenal will be hoping to erase the memories of their last performance in front of the home crowd, which was a humbling defeat at the hands of West Ham United.

Liverpool on the other hand will head in to the game with their tails up after having secured two one-nil victories from their opening two games. This match though, will be the first real test of both these team’s title and top four credentials. A victory for either of these sides will go down as a real statement while defeat is not even an option.
